A lovely read!

I have read many wonderful books this past year! The first to share with you is:

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.

The story, written for young adult readers, is about the life of a young boy on the Spokane Indian reservation - Arnold Spirit. Arnold's experience
of living in poverty and wanting more is poignant, painful and heartwarming. I learned a lot about First Nations' people through the eyes and heart of Arnold. It's a quick read and laugh out loud funny throughout.
